On a long, summer day hike, we traveled through forests flanked by pristine, alpine lakes. We came across a knee-high river that was our only way to get to the other side. We took off our shoes and waded through the rushing river with the slimy rocks beneath our feet. When we reached the other side, a beautiful meadow was before us. The sun was shining through the trees onto the field of dancing daisies in love. I picked a daisy...he loves me, he loves me not! He loves me!
